The Donkey Sanctuary, Ballyclare provides donkey-assisted therapy for children and adults with additional needs as well as therapeutic visits to care homes in the local community.
Children who attend the Centre have a wide range of additional needs and disabilities and may have difficulties with physical, social or behavioural interactions.
Works involved working closely with Sanctuary team members to design and build a Sensory Garden for the use of the children who attend the Centre.
