As a Main Contractor it is mandatory we provide certified evidence that we only employ licensed electrical workers. This has been a requirement in Public Sector PQQ and ITT documentation from January 2014 and therefore we are obliged to comply with this new procurement policy.

We are mindful the policy has been adopted by the Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) and NI Centres of Procurement Expertise (CoPE’s) following a recommendation of CPD to the Procurement Practitioners’ Group.

We are registered with Sparksafe and when undertaking any electrical works on current and upcoming Government awarded contracts are now licensed to practice through the scheme.

We trust this will improve our company’s compliance with relevant CDM Obligations and improve the quality of electrical Health and Safety Standards.
